The El Reno Rotary Club recently hosted the Group Study Exchange team from Argentina.  There are 5 team members, all from varying professions, and their Rotarian team leader.  The purpose of the program is to education the team on how American businesses and institutions function and allow them to take these ideas back to their own homes.  They also get a taste of American life through interaction with their home-host families.  The team is in Oklahoma for 4 weeks and travels to different Rotary clubs throughout Rotary District 5750.

While in El Reno, the team was able to tour Redlands Community College, Canadian County Museum, OEMA, Canadian Valley Vo-Tech, Heritage Solutions, and Gemini Coatings.  They also attended the Minco Rodeo and  volunteered for El Reno Burger Day, where they learned the art of onion burger cooking.  They dined at local restaurants and visited many local retailers.  "We just wanted to give them a small taste of El Reno while there were here." said Geoff Eaton, El Reno Rotary Club President.  "We were lucky to have them during Burger Day.  They really liked the onion burgers and walking around downtown El Reno."

The team moves on to Oklahoma City for a week before flying home to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
