A District Grant was used this year to help the Choctaw Round-Up Club make the walking area much safer. The old pavers were separating and uneven, which made it difficult for the disabled and elderly to use. With new concrete poured, the area is now safer to use. Go check out the work at one of their events this spring/summer.
District Grants normally help us stretch our funds, giving us $2 for every $1 of our funds. We are always looking out for the next project we can help with using District Grants. There are rules we have to work with and a timeline for when we get the money. If you have a project, feel free to reach out to a Rotarian or message us, and we can discuss whether your project fits the guidelines.
