Congratulations Dick Tregear
a 2020 Deakin Community Award recipient!
Honorary member Dick Tregear, was nominated for a Deakin Award (Seniors category) by the Rotary Club of Nunawading.
Dick was nominated for his service to the community with Rotary that spans more than 50 years, and his ongoing involvement with the "Nashos".
Dick received an email from Federal Member for Deakin Michael Sukkar's office and it said in part:
"Congratulations on being selected as a 2020 Deakin Community Award recipient!
The Deakin Community Awards are an initiative that recognise our unsung local community leaders and volunteers who generously give their time and energy to make our community a better place to live.
It is my great pleasure to recognise your outstanding work and commitment to our local community through your involvement with Rotary Club of Nunawading. Without your contribution and sacrifice, our community would not be the wonderful place it is today."
Dick recently received his award from Michael, accompanied by Pam.
