East Hartford H.S. - Community Awareness Day

My name is Adrienne Cote and I am took over for Sarah Barry as the
Service Learning Coordinator at East Hartford High School. I'm writing
because I'm starting to plan our annual Community Awareness Day event.
In the past, your organizations have been an immense help in
supporting volunteerism and building a stronger understanding of good
citizenship for the students in East Hartford.



If you're unfamiliar with this event, it is on the
half-day before Thanksgiving and it involves students rotating around
the school to learn about various types of benevolent organizations in
the area. The entire day is devoted to enhancing our students'
understanding of service and commitment to their surroundings. I'm
inviting you to have a room devoted to your organization in which you
could share out about your purpose and your community involvement in a
series of brief presentations.
