How do I become a member of Weymouth Rotary?

Individuals must be sponsored or proposed for membership into a club. If you are interested in Rotary, please contact a Weymouth Rotarian, or simplly feel free to attend one of our meetings which are held every Monday night (except holidays) at 6:15 p.m. at Hajjar's Function Room, Washington Street, Weymouth.  If you aren't familiar with any of our members we suggest you contact our club Secretary Greg Galvin and he will be sure that you are greeted at the door when you arrive.

What are the qualifications for membership?

A prospective member must be a person of good character with a good business, professional, or community reputation and also be one of the following:

  • A current or former professional, proprietor, executive, manager, or community leader
  • Committed to service with a record of personal involvement
  • A Rotary Foundation alumnus

What are the responsibilities of membership?

Members are expected to attend weekly club meetings. They must pay annual dues to their clubs, their Rotary district, and Rotary International, and they’re expected to participate in local or international Rotary club activities or projects. Clubs encourage members to aspire to club leadership or committee roles.
