A. Mangold: Support for hospital school in Munich

Our club member Andrea Mangold will speak about the work of the "Förderverein Bildung für kranke Kinder und Jugendliche München" which she chairs. This association supports children and young people who are suffering from long-term and/or chronic illnesses and are therefore unable to attend school. They run various projects to this end; a key part of the work is supporting the School for Sick Children. In addition, they run chess and photography projects and fund extra tuition and teaching materials. They have also purchased the first avatar (and an additional seven) for the School for Sick Children in Munich.
