Tony Sassa and Henry Maclean
SolarFlair and Solarize Milton

Tony Sassa has been in solar energy for over 10 years now, originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, he and his college friend embarked on a shared passion and created their startup company. The business quickly grew and the college partnership moved to Massachusetts; unfortunately, due to financing difficulties on large-scale projects falling through, the business went under. Despite the disappointment, Tony stayed active in the solar business and started work at some major public trading companies. Proudly serving as the Manager of Business Development at SolarFlair, Tony is supporting his company’s corporate teams, programs, and development of large-scale projects for landowners and businesses alike. SolarFlair is among the few truly local installers of solar panels and products in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and Tony is fired up and ready to answer any lingering question you may have.

Henry MacLean is an architect, educator, and principal of his firm Timeless Architecture. He has been involved in working with educational and civic institutions in the northeast since 1987. Henry is the local representative for Solarize Milton, which is a program aimed at providing deep discounts on solar electric systems to help Milton residents save money, and reduce their impact on the environment. His work centers on solutions in architecture that integrate the healing of ecology with the spirit of place, Henry's projects, articles and presentations have appeared in the Boston Globe, the Northeast Sun, Milton Times, Cape Cod & Islands Home, Architecture Boston, Preservation, and Builder Architect Magazines.

Please join Rotary Club of Milton in welcoming Tony Sassa and Henry MacLean to our meeting and get educated on the growing power of the solar industry and its everyday benefits.
