A Story of Hope!
Once upon a time, there was a small bird named Hope. Hope lived in a beautiful forest filled with tall trees and chirping birds. One day, a huge storm hit the forest, and all the trees were destroyed, leaving Hope without a place to call home.
Hope flew from tree to tree, searching for shelter but found nothing. Despair began to set in, but then Hope remembered its mother’s words, “where there’s life, there’s hope.” Hope realized that even though its home was destroyed, it was still alive and could create a new home.
Hope began to search for materials to build a nest. It found sticks, twigs, and leaves and worked tirelessly, weaving them together to make a cozy and safe home. As Hope worked, other birds in the forest saw its determination and came to help. Soon, a beautiful new community was formed, filled with hope and love.
The sun shone brightly, and the flowers bloomed, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. Hope’s hard work and determination had paid off, and it was now living in a place that was even more beautiful than its old home.
From that day on, Hope served as an inspiration to all the other birds in the forest. Whenever they faced a challenge, they thought of Hope and its unwavering hope and belief that things would get better. The forest became a place of peace, love, and happiness, all because of one little bird’s hope.

One fine day, a bus driver was driving his bus along the normal route. No problems for the first few stops, a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well. But at the next stop, a big guy got on. Six feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground.
He glared at the driver and said, “Big John doesn’t need to pay!” He then sat down at the back.
The driver was five feet three, thin, and basically meek. Naturally, he didn’t argue with Big John, but he wasn’t happy about it. The next day the same thing happened – Big John got on again and made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. And the next day, and the one after that and so forth.
This grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him. Finally he could no longer stand it. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff.
By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; he felt really good about himself. So on the next Monday, when Big John once again got on the bus and said, “Big John doesn’t pay”, the driver stood up, glared back and screamed, “Why not?”
With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, “Big John has a bus pass.”
Be sure that there is a problem in the first place before working hard to solve one.
