Sponsor A Valentine Meal for A Senior

For our club February service project, we will sponsor a Valentine Lunch for Residents at the Fair Oaks Senior Center at 1950 Lattimore Street on Sunday,  February 11, 2023, from 11:15 to 1:00 pm.  We ask club members to donate to sponsor a meal for a senior for that event.  Meals are $13 each and will be ordered from El Chaparral.

Learn more about the event and sign up as a donor or to volunteer by following the link to the Rotary event page here.

Two Rotarians are needed to pick up the food at 11:00 on Saturday, February 11^th and transport them to Fair Oaks.  Other Rotarians are welcome to help serve or simply dine and socialize with the residents (members pay for their personal meals in advance and RSVP by February 8 if you wish to dine with the residents).  A game with prizes will follow the meal.  Penny Gee is chairing this event. She has plans to invite a group of high school students to also provide intergenerational socialization during the event.
