Fair Oaks Senior Center Valentine Lunch

For our club February service project, we will sponsor a Valentine Lunch for Residents at the Fair Oaks Senor Center at 1950 Lattimore Street on Sunday,  February 11, 2023, from 11:15 to 1:00 pm.  We ask club members to donate to sponsor a meal for a senior for that event.  Meals are $13 each and will be ordered from El Chaparral. 

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED: 

1. Make a Donation and Register as a Donor — If you would like to donate please register for the event by clicking "member" in the event tab on the wesite so we have your name included as a donor and see donation instructions below. 

2. Volunteer —If you would like to volunteer you can sign up for one of the few volunteer shifts by clicking the button that says "Fair Oaks Volunteer SignUp" 

Two Rotarians are needed to pick up the food at 11:00 on Saturday, February 11th and transport them to Fair Oaks.  Other Rotarians are welcome to help serve or simply dine and socialize with the residents (members pay for their personal meals in advance and RSVP by February 8 if you wish to dine with the residents).  A game with prizes will follow the meal.  Penny Gee is chairing this event. She has plans to invite a group of high school students to also provide intergenerational socialization during the event.

You may donate at next Thursday’s meeting (February 9) or through Venmo at any time (The Venmo Code information is attached).
