Wedding Anniversaries:  Bonne Housley, Lorrie Shaffer, Marty Tass.  Club Anniversaries: Bob Sweitzer. 

Drawing: Bruce Hill and his table had the ticket and did not draw the Joker. :-)

PRESIDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Membership: Andrea Denton: We are going to be working on a plan for new membership today after the meeting we will gather to compile ideas. Also give our new members a job to do if you can, it will make our club stronger. 

 

Food Bank:  Volunteer 5-7 tonight we are the largest group, please sign up and see you there. 

 

Silent Auction: Dr. John Murphy & Christina Gary - Silent Auction Committee is asking us to consider what we are going to donate to the silent auctions. Make it easy on yourself just write cash on the clipboard and they will shop for you. You may call Christina at 330.607.3003 and let her know what you will be donating or contributing. 

 

Football Pool Books: Pat Messmore announced all of the winners this week. 

 

Reverse Raffle: Mike Sekulich- ticket sales are going well, we only have 10 tickets left. Please help him sell them and please pay for your tickets if you signed up. 

 

INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKER:  Dick Hall - October is Vocational Month, and He is introducing Ed Borsuk - from the Aviation Engineering Academy at SMFHS.

Aviation Academy is 2 year program and is tied in with KSU. He now teaches 3 ground courses that are college credits for the students. The University is very happy with the students we are sending there, these students are doing great. Some of the goals of the program are to make students aware of all of the different career paths in the world of aviation its just not air traffic control, or pilots. Both student her visiting us for breakfast came up with energy and excitement talking about all the experiences that they have had, and a little about the program. We are very lucky to have KSU as they were voted #1 Aviation Program in the country last year.
