ROTARY CLUB STOW MUNROE FALLS GENERAL MEETING

May 27, 2015

Our meeting was called to order at 7:45 a.m. by President Jim Callahan.

Bob Oborn gave the Invocation and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. He then introduced our guest speaker John Parry, An Official with the NFL. John has officiated in two super bowls 41 and 46. He really gave us the most enjoyable and informative look at Officiating. John also enjoyed Annie Hanson joke.

Our Announcer today was Annie Hanson. Thank you to John Long and Tony Falcione for their usual great job. Last In Linda Trevorrow. Club anniversaries: Brad Jagger 2 years and John Murphy 22 years. Wedding anniversaries: Tony Falcione 59 years, Bruce Hill 40 years and Bob Oborn 27 years. Happy birthday was sang to Steve Frye and Doug Dottere. Thank you Bonnie for leading us. Ray Evans table had the winning ticket but did not pull the Joker. Annie Hanson left us with the most enjoyable and talked about joke ever.

Bob Oborn and Dan Mazzola were the only two Rotarians to turn in their FRANK forms and Bob Oborn won the gift card.

The announcer clip board was passed around dates: June 3rd, 10th and 17th need filled.

Bonnie Housley thanked everyone on her committee for all their help on Hero’s day.

Dave Renninger thanked everyone for their help at the Food Bank and a reminder to all who signed up to work next week.

Dick Hall stated if anyone needed their golf donations picked up to call him.

Annette Oborn said there will be a budget committee meeting on June 8th at Rick Archer’s Office at 6 p.m.

Jim Stewart reminded us that June 5th is our golf outing.

Marty Tass stated Saturday June 6th Adopt a Spot 10 a.m. Flag Pole Safety Service Bldg.
