INVOCATION: Dick Spangler shared a great invocation from the book of Monbeck, and thanked the lord for our fellowship and our opportunities.

GUEST ANNOUNCER: Tony Falcione let us know that we had Suzanne Garrett as a visitor today as well as speech and debate team: James Hoyt, Thomas Tinker, his mother Cheryl Tinkler, Sam Wilcox, and teacher Sue Theisen. No Pin Elizabeth Eaken, No Badge Tony Falcione, John Pribonic, Steve Fry. Birthdays this week, we forgot to sing to Elizabeth Eaken and Jeff Film.  

PRESIDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Dave Renninger - food bank sign up sheet was in the podium and we need you to sign up for bank on April 1st. 

Mark Lucco - after todays meeting stay for 5 minutes to talk about golf outing for next year. June 5th Friday Fox Den. 

Jacqui Bowman - Heroes Day in May meeting this Friday Bob Evans Hudson Drive -  7:15 AM. Team Captains should be there to attend, as well as Heroes Day leadership committee. 

INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKER: Dick Spangler let us know about the current Speech & Debate Team and what our schools have to offer. Then Sam Wilcox our 3rd place winner, spoke first on the toxic lifestyle of the American. She put the current lifestyle through the 4 way test. Our America lifestyle did not pass. Then our 2nd place speaker James Hoyt  talked to us today about the possibility of colonization of mars. Yes the big red planet, Mars. He put that through the 4 way test. Yes, it is possible to have colonists inhabit Mars, and he was very convincing that inhabiting Mars would pass the test.  Then last but not least the winner Thomas Tinkler will present to us last. He talked to us today about disabilities being viewed as impeding in on our greatness. He put the issues of having disabled being viewed as lesser through the 4 way test. The answer was no, it did not pass the test. The disabled person is not lesser than we are.  Great speeches, great students. 

Sue Theisen then spoke about the success of the high school and that 2 young ladies that took 3rd in national tournament. The school won a school of excellence as well. These students are working so hard and raising money so they can compete out of town and across the country. Our school is national known around the country, and can use our continued support. This June they will be taking 6 young men to Dallas for nationals. 

Jim Callahan then presented them each with their awards.
