Chief Jeff Film presented the program on July 15, 2020 on Police Reform.  He very generously shared his power point presentation with the club!  You can read it either in an e-mail that you received from Linda Trevorrow or attached to the minutes of last week's meeting.  It was an excellent presentation and gave us another reason to be proud of a fellow Rotarian.  Chief Film made it perfectly clear that the employees of the Stow Police Department are continually trying to make themselves better.  The department looks forward to some of the new procedures that will be introduced by the State of Ohio involving training, recruitment and complaints.  Stow already implements some of the standards (old to Stow; new to other departments), such as the use of body cameras.  It is a very active department with 23,434 calls handled in 2019 and 9601 calls answered so far in 2020.

Jeff:  We thank you and your department for your bravery, courage, and dedication to Stow residents and businesses, including visitors to the City of Stow.  Your 'Service Above Self' is well recognized!

Ron Taggart, who was in charge of our joke this morning closed the meeting with comments he has found on match.com.  One couldn't help but smile and groan!

This week Dick Hall will share a joke with all of us!
