Member Moment & Introduction to Speaker:
Larry Bowman from Kent Club sharing with us what we are doing in collaboration and where some of our funds from this club. Also announced that trip to El Salvador in October. He introduced Ivan Villasboa who spoke today showing us the project. Within the next 2 years he will want 2 members of our club to come to the inauguration of the next phase of project. To pump water into the homes of those in El Salvador and help the families from having to carry it for miles. Rotary Club projects are solar projects that will reduce the cost of water for them. Its about half of their monthly income to provide water for their family now, and goal is to cut it down to less than 10%.
