INVOCATION: Marty Tass shared a wonderful wintry prayer and reminded us to be grateful. 

ANNOUNCER: Brad Jagger shared that we have a guest today Suzanne Garrett. Mike Jabbour was last in. No sigh in was Dick Spangler. We had no birthays to sing of today however if you see Amber Zibritosky tell her happy birthday. Club Anniversarty- Jim Laber 5 years. Wedding Anniversary- Mike Sekulich 18 years. Steve Fry drew the 6 of diamonds.

PINNING TODAY:  Andrea recited our service above self welcoming statements and we all agreed to have him installed. Steve Dunton retired from Stow Police Department. Sponsored by Jon Sues.  Steve has 3 children Joe Craig and Corrine. Monica his wife and his family live on Pebblehurst in Stow, and he has lived here since he was 4 years old. PRESIDENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Jim will be out for a while as he is getting knee replacement on Friday so he will be out for a few weeks.  So January 23rd through February 3rd, please call Jim directly 330.678.2066 he will have no access to email as his computer would require him to do steps.  

MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS: Bruce Redmon talked about the grant we made to the Greifcare Place. Showed us the box of materials that will go to the school counselors. It includes a complete curriculum for the counselors. Package is about $7500 of value to the school system. This is an ongoing program and the counselors have been in inservice training for the program. This is very valuable and will be used for many years to come. 

Dave Renninger: Makeups for January were given. 24 million pounds of food were distributed in 2014 and Christina Gary won the giftcard. Sign up for next month in February. 

Pat Messmore: Foundation giving this past year recap.  Paul Harris +5 was awarded to Bruce Redmon what an honor and congratulations to him. 

INTRODUCTION SPEAKER: Marty Tass introduced Mark Pinto - Business Advisor 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative at Cuyahoga Community College. Marty mentioned his daughter took classes and graduated from this program and will now be able to take over Marty’s business due to the great program that Mark has. This program is funded by Goldman Sachs. 

SPEAKER: He talked about the program and the history of how it started. Over 240 graduates from the program in Cleveland. Designed for entrepreneurial mind and to help small businesses grow and create employment. Teaching these folks to work on the business not in the business. This is a great program for anyone that is thinking of owning a small business, or someone that already has one to give you a map for growth and take you to the next level.
