We will be meeting at River Front Park on Saturday, September 28th, at 8:30 AM. We have been asked to help organize other volunteers and: a) make sure that volunteers at River Front sign waivers and collect them (Becky will provide you clipboard and pens), b) show volunteers the cleanup supplies (bags, gloves, litter grabbers, buckets, etc.) which will be on site, c) show volunteers where to pile the litter and debris (near the restrooms) for our Parks staff to pick up, and d) tell volunteers that lunch and Cuyahoga River Cleanup t-shirts will be provided at Water Works Park Little Stone Shelter at 12:30 PM. The work on the cleanup at Riverfront Park should be done in about an hour. We are also invited to join the entire volunteer group for lunch at Waterworks if you want. |
