On behalf of the Geauga West Rotary Club, Skip and Pam Claypool exemplified Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self" by preparing and delivering one large pan of turkey casserole to the residents living at the Next Step Geauga Home located on Aquilla Rd. in Claridon Twp. Program Director Andrea Pollock, who is also a member of the GW Rotary Club, is always appreciative of the many generous offerings of volunteer service and assistance from the four Rotary clubs in Geauga County. "The Next Step Program is a community-based initiative that provides stable housing and individualized case management services for young adults aged 18-24 who are victims of crime and have experienced trauma. The program aims to support these young adults in their transition to self-sufficiency by offering case plans, housing, employment, education, transportation and health care support." The Next Step program has been in existence in Geauga County for over 10 years and can accommodate 8-10 young adults living at this home.
