The Geauga West Rotary club played in the Hillcrest Sunrise Rotary club's annual golf outing at Pine Ridge on Friday. Members Fred Nevar, Jim Zeitz and Bob Voss played in the event and are standing in front of the hole our club sponsored. The weather was almost perfect for a change - cool and cloudy with temps in the low 70's! Our team came out hot birdying 4 of the first 6 holes but couldn't make another birdie putt until the last hole. Our final score was -5 under par. The winning team finished -12 under and the second-place team finished -11. The Hillcrest Sunrise club put on an excellent outing with fantastic food, silent auction prizes, booze cart, 50/50 cash raffle and a putting contest. Bob Voss won the putting contest by beating out another player who also made the 40 ft. putt to advance to the putt-off. Congrats to Bob and the West Geauga Rotary club for participating in the outing and for making the Hillcrest's outing a success!
