Geauga West Rotary Club held its Changing of the Guard at the Great Blue Heron Lodge at the Rookery Park on Weds. June 24th. It was a fun and intimate setting for the club to say farewell to President Bob Voss and his outgoing officers and board and induct the President-Elect Jim Zeitz and his new officers and board. Past President and Foundation Chair Ed Slane presided over the induction ceremony. All outgoing board members received a rotary license plate and plate holder for their dedication and outstanding efforts over the 2025-2026 year. In addition, prior to the induction ceremony, Derek Taylor was given a Lifetime Achievement Award for his 36 years of service to the Chesterland/Geauga West Rotary Club! He was deeply touched and left speechless by the honor.
