Cardinal Students Attend 2022 World Affairs Seminar at Carrol University
 Cardinal High School Students Carlie Woods and Elliot Bella attended the Rotary World Affairs seminar at Carroll University located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This years theme was "Reimagining Global Health and Wellness: Contagious Ideas." The students were split up into different groups and dorms forcing them to make new friends. The students discussed the daily schedule which was jamb packed of attending speakers, going out on fieldtrips and then working on a Capstone project. The students shared stories of their experiences of exploring the area around the campus. The students also shared the experience of traveling from a small community going to the seminar with students from much larger schools. Carlie and Elliot also shared experiences they had while working on the Capstone projects, Carlie explained her counselor was deaf so they mad a Capstone project that was audible so they were able to hear it. Elliot explained her group had some difficulty during the project and how they worked through it. | |
