HEADS AND TAILS The winner this week is Dan McClelland. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Mantua Rotary Club will be sponsoring a variety show on Saturday, April 10th, starting at 7:00 PM at Hiram College's Hayden Auditorium. All proceeds will benefit the Crestwood Bands and Haitian relief efforts. Dan McClelland announced that there will be a Motorcycle Run meeting after our regular meeting on 4/14. The District 6630 Conference will be April 23-25th at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky. More people are needed to attend. BMR will be sponsoring a hospitality night that Mike Pesek is organizing. Tom Blair announced that Leadership Geauga, in conjuction with the Burton Fire Department and Hearts, is sponsoring a Texas Hold'em tournament May 15th at the Burton Fire Department. Doors open at 5:00 PM and the tournament begins at 6:00 PM. There is a $100 entry fee. If you pre-register by May 7th you will receive $250 in bonus chips. There will be $5000 in prize money. Call 440-834-4416 for tickets and information. All proceeds are to benefit a Hearts Safety Program for Autistic Children and Adults with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. Pat Preston was in attendance and was thanked for his donation of the truck that we raffled off for the Veteran's Memorial. Many thank you's were read. They were read faster than I can write! PROGRAM - North American Cast Stone. The club enjoyed a tour of North American Cast Stone which is owned and operated by Rick Rickelman. Since 2002 the company has manufactured cast stone products for commercial, residential, and institutional markets. Mr. Rickelman also operates LMR Construction which specializes in masonry construction.
