Discontinuation of Services

In the interest of improved communication and outreach to our current members, the Rotary Club of Ashtabula will discontinue use of its group email address, signpost@irotary.com, and our club website, www.irotary.com. This will go into effect as soon as possible.

 

In its place, we will be utilizing ClubRunner. Our new website URL will be http://portal.clubrunner.ca/5180. ClubRunner not only hosts club websites but includes many utilities helpful for club administration. This includes email services. All members can go to the website and log into the “Member Area” tab located in the upper right corner of the page to utilize this resource. If you need assistance, please contact me and I may be able to help.

 

I would also like to take this opportunity on behalf of the club’s leadership team to thank Steve Schoneman for serving as the club’s “I.T.” department for many years. His time and expertise has made most of our past communications possible. Thank you, Steve for your service!

 

This is only one of several changes taking place to move our club forward and I am excited about those changes! From time to time, I’ve heard people reminisce about “the good ol’ days” when a hundred Rotarians would crowd into the former Hotel Ashtabula for a meeting. I believe we can become an even more dynamic club than those of the past if we have the willingness to do so! And if we become even more dynamic, what would keep us from growing to such numbers again? An entire generation now entering into adulthood has a passion for service; who places a premium on the personal experience of helping others. If we reach out to those people, if we can be of an example of time well-spent and resources well-used, then we are truly at the doorstep of a new and exciting renewal!
