LCCM's Summer Food Program receives a boost from the Rotary Club of Lebanon PA.

At its meeting on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 the Rotary Club of Lebanon PA presented Lebanon County Christian Ministries with a check in the amount of $5,000 to support its Summer Food Program.

Presenting the check was Cynthia Zumbrunnen, Club President, and Patrick Freer, Club Past President and Bologna Fest Chairperson.  "Providing food and nutrition to children is one of Rotary's core missions," Freer explained, "and we are excited to use the proceeds from the Bologna Fest to support LCCM's Summer Food Program."

Receiving the check on behalf of LCCM was Troy Williams, LCCM's Executive Director.  "We are very grateful to have received this grant from the Lebanon Rotary."  Williams said.  "It will certainly go a long way in aiding our effort of providing more than 14,000 meals to Lebanon County children this summer."

The Lebanon Rotary created the Annual Bologna Fest two years ago as a means to raise funds and awareness for Lebanon County charities.  In its first two years, the Bologna Fest raised more than $40,000 - all of which will be donated back to the community in the form of grants.  Freer continued, "As the Bologna Fest event grows, we look forward to giving back even more to the Lebanon community."
