Students of the Month Recognized

Six Lebanon County high school seniors honored as Students of the Month for April 2012.

At its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, the Rotary Club of Lebanon PA recognized six, local high school seniors for their accomplishments as Students of the Month for April 2012 for the 2011-2012 academic school year.

Presenting each student with a certificate of recognition for their scholastic achievements, community service, and leadership qualities were Cynthia Zumbrunnen, President of the Rotary Club of Lebanon Pa, and Joseph Kristobak, Rotarian and Cornwall-Lebanon School District Superintendent.

Students are nominated for this special honor by their high schools’ faculty and administration every month and then recognized by Rotary at a special luncheon meeting during that month.

The students recognized were (from left to right): Olivia Straka (Cedar Crest); Gabrielle Ellinger (LCCTC); Dakota Bowers (LCCTC); Jordan Achenbach (Lebanon); Alex Trautman (Lebanon); and Weston Fortna (Cedar Crest).

Several parents and family members also attended the Tuesday luncheon meeting for the award presentations held at the Hilltop Café at the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center, Lebanon.
