Eight high school seniors are recognized by Lebanon Rotary.

The Rotary of Lebanon recently recognized eight high school seniors from Lebanon area high schools as Students of the Month for January, 2011. Each student was presented a certificate of recognition for their scholastic achievements, community service, and leadership qualities. Students are nominated for this special honor by their high schools' faculty and administration every month and then recognized by Rotary at a special luncheon meeting during that month. The students who were recognized are: Gemiqua Coleen Benjamin and Jason Capello from Lebanon High School; Stuart Koch and Valerie Sattazahn from Lebanon Catholic School; Miranda Yiengst and Austin Yocum from Cedar Crest High School; Amanda Engle from ELCO High School; Michael Miller from Annville-Cleona High School. Amanda Engle and Michael Miller are also students of the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center. Several parents and family members of these students also attended the Tuesday luncheon meeting on January 25th for the award presentations held at the Quality Inn, Lebanon.
