A check presentation for $750 was made to Executive Director Mark Fairhurst of Embracing Futures. The Embracing Futures Oral Health Education Program provides one personal toothbrush, one tube of tooth paste, one dispenser of dental floss, two disclosing tablets, fun work sheets, and  one tooth brushing calendar to third grade elementary students. This past school year Embracing Futures  4 counties (Summit, Portage, Stark, Medina), 263 classrooms, in 76 schools (public, parochial, private), and taught 6,180 students how to brush their teeth.  And specifically, they taught 309 third graders at St. Augustine, and Barberton Elementary’ s East and West schools.
