We met today for one of the first sunny days in a while. Announcements included a plea for club event pictures form our president as she is putting together a story board for the district conference this week. Also, club member Joe Schon is asking for donations for his upcoming trip to Kenya. Money is needed for the medical project, the goat project and the chicken and rabbit ‘starter sets’.  The program today was our exchange student, Claire Allard, a new Gering High School graduate.  She had a short presentation about her home country of Belgium, states she has visited during her stay this past school term, and the food she has come to enjoy.  She feels the real highlight is the people she has met and the friends she has made. She answered any questions and members could donate to her upcoming trip that Rotary Exchange Students are making prior to returning to their homes.
