Graham Sowa, Ambassadorial Scholar

Today's Speaker was Graham Sowa who spent the last year living in Botswana courtesy of a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship.

Graham went to Botswana to see what a middle income, up and coming developing country really looks like. Botswana is a great departure from the poverty he witnessed in Haiti as a volunteer there the previous summers. AS we heard from Graham Botswana still has a long way to go. Graham spoke about Rotary culture in Southern Africa, and explained developments in Botswana through his experiences and friendships that were made during his year there.
