Rotary Clubs recognize Monmouth County’s best at Lombardi Awards Dinner

The Rotary Clubs of Monmouth County convened to honor 27 outstanding young men at the 41st Annual Vince Lombardi Awards Banquet Thursday night at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown.

The annual event recognizes the best offensive linemen in Shore Conference Football, who have been selected by their coaches for the award because they portray the traditions, beliefs and ideals of the legendary coach of the Green Bay Packers, Vince Lombardi.

In judging the eligible candidates, the coaches were asked to choose those players that Coach Lombardi would have been proud to have playing for him. Individuals who embody the qualities of discipline, courage, endurance, desire, ability and performance. Congratulations to all of the award winners!
