Theater. The 75 seat theater was donated by the Lumia family to be used as a non-profit organization. The company’s mission is to develop and produce new plays with professional actors and to make a cultural contribution to the community. The company is supported by subscriptions and donations. He discussed the many trials and tribulations concerning initiating the organization and the affect of Covid on all concerned. On display was the architectural rendering of the cultural center planned to house new theaters, art education centers, art studios and galleries. The school property was purchased from donations. Many questions ensued concerning the affect of Covid on the organization. Some member suggestions were for the building to house a room specifically to be labeled and used for the Rotary Club and to plan an evening fundraising event. There will be 6 new plays planned for the 2022-2023 season. The next play is called Eden Prairie, 1971. October 20 -November 20.
