Speaker - Nancy Francese of St. Brigid’s Food Pantry being presented with a Rotary mug in appreciation of her very informative presentation.
Highlights: The St. Brigid’s Food Pantry is located at St. James Church, 300 Broadway, L.B. The pantry is named after St. Brigid, protector of the poor and underserved. Volunteers assume all the necessary tasks to distribute food, staff the thrift shop and help with life skills. Approximately 3,000 people are served every month. The size of the family determines the allotment. In 2024 from January to July, 18,160 adults and children were served. References from social services and pre-registration are not required. Donations should be made to St. James Church. Visitors are welcomed.
