ROTARY FOOD DRIVE

Long Branch Rotarians and students from Long Branch Middle School collect food in front of Shoprite, West Long Branch on Saturday 9/17 for local residents in need of food during the Thanksgiving holiday. Last year approximately 700 families benefitted from this effort between November and December.

Scott Seidel, Manager of Stop & Shop in West End presents Pres. Fatima Camacho and Lex Tucci with $250 in gift cards to help the Rotary Food Drive.

As part of our ongoing food drive, Rotary Club of Long Branch President Fatima Camacho accompanied by Alexis Tucci presents a check for $2,000 along with boxes of food to Peter Matteo and Lucy Perez of St Michael’s, St. Vincent de Paul Society for their food pantry. The Long Branch Rotary Club and Investor’s Bank have presented 5 other pantries with checks of $2000 each: Christ the King Parish, 2^nd Ave Baptist Church, St. James, St Luke’s, and the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
