Meeting came to order 12:15. Opened by Fatima Camacho followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Prayer by Paul Peacock.

Agenda: Fatima opened with the announcement of the Ronald McDonald House BBQ hosted on October 21, 2012. Fatima asked for volunteers to work the grill, so far we have three but could use one more. Roger stepped up to the plate. You go Roger!!!

Brian Berry reported next on the WAVE OF HOPE event at the school. Even through the in climate weather, the event pulled in a wonderful $1300.00. Good Going Brian. He also thanked everyone that gave him a hand on making it a GREAT Day!

Lex Tucci approached Fatima about the possibility to start a food collection day for the holidays. Fatima announced that she asked Pat Binkowski to reach out to Fine Fare in Long Branch for a day we could have a food collection monthly. Pat Binkowski reported that we could stand in front of Fine Fare on Saturday mornings for one weekend in Oct , Nov & Dec. It was also brought up that why stop at December, just do it for the holidays, when people are hungry all year long. Pat met with the gentleman from Fine Fare and the final consensus is let’s do it all year long. This was confirmed with Fine Fare and am happy to announce that Starting Oct 27 we will be outside of Fine Fare 10-4, thereafter every SECOND MONDAY OF THE MONTH. SOOOO!@## MIKA get our paperwork in order and we will hit the streets. A suggestion was made that we provide bi-lingual flyers. The proceeds of these collections with be given to various local church’s for the underprivileged. Some of those churches will be Second Baptist, St James, Lutheran Church of Broadway and St. Michaels church.
