Pres. Barb and speaker Jim McNamara, Lakewood Blue Claws
Started at 12:20pm at Rooney's Oceanfront Restaurant
Mika took the notes.
La Presidente Barb Youchah presided over the meeting.
Mika started the pledge of Allegiance followed by Paul Peacock giving the invocation.
Russell Anderson welcomed our guest Jim McNamara at the door. Jim was our keynote speaker.
Barb made some announcements:
•The book drive continues for Bridge of Books." We're collecting books in good condition suitable for 1-18 year olds and books on parenting.
• There is no meeting on April 14th (Good Friday)
• April 20th our meeting will be at Stumpy's Hatchet House in Eatontown, 6pm.
• There is no meeting April 21st
• April 22nd is a beach clean up for Clean Ocean Action. We meet in front of Sirena at 9am
• Our art show has been moved to Sept 21st
Jim McNamara spoke to us about the Lakewood Blueclaws upcoming season. Tim Tebow will be joining themwhich should draw some crowds. They plan on having live bands on Saturdays and offer tons of events and activities for the whole family throughout the park. More info at www.blueclaws.com
