The first order of business was to squash the incorrect usage of Member Proposal emails. When a member is proposed via email the correct procedure is to ONLY RESPOND WHEN PUTTING FORTH AN OBJECTION and to do absolutely nothing if you agree with the prospective member joining the club. Otherwise complete anarchy and mayhem ensues mixed with some hurt feelings.

Last September, the Long Branch community lost a very dedicated Special Education professional, Mrs. Karen Hansen. She taught in the Long Branch School System for more than 25 years. Countless children needing special attention in their education are now productive adults due to the caring efforts provided by Karen and the many Special Education Professionals in our schools. Karen’s one wish was to be able to help those aspiring to enter this rewarding field. Her family has established the Karen Hansen Memorial Scholarship Fund and all the proceeds from our event will go to it.
