Highlights: The speaker related his childhood history and how his life was enriched after he joined the organization. The Club, a non-profit organization, was established 1938 in Asbury Park. There are 5,000 clubs in America. Currently there are also Clubs located in Long Branch, Red Bank, Neptune and throughout Monmouth County. The mission of the Club is to empower children to reach their potential and to support children’s mental health and social and emotional development within a safe and supportive environment. Some programs are career workshops, community service, entrepreneurship, 101 business, tutoring for literacy and monitoring children as they progress.
