Pledge of Allegiance: Al Peskoe
Blessing/Invocation: Paul Peacock

Guest: Sheila Vinton, District Governor of District 7500
Welcome: Rotary Club President, Mika Hon welcomed our guest and speaker Sheila Vinton, of the Point Pleasant Rotary Club.

Announcements:
* President Mika suggested to bring old ROTARIAN magazines to the meetings on Fridays, so we can put new labels on them and re-distribute them to doctors' and dentists' offices and other establishments with waiting rooms.
This should help us get some additional exposure very inexpensively.
* Postcards and posters are available for our clambake. While it's not really "open to the public", we certainly welcome family and friends to the event.
* 9/20 will be a movie night with proceeds to benefit Mike Ciavolino's Jersey Autism Foundation. Details to follow.

The first event with be a District 7500 Family Picnic in Wall on 8/18 which will also serve as a RYLA reunion. The cost is $35 and guests are welcome.
On 9/22, her club will host the Charlie Goldfarb challenge with 6 clubs competing in various challenging games and then celebrating the winners and losers with BBQ and beer.
Ms. Vinton expressed her hope, that this might be the year that Rotary will be able to write the final chapter in eradicating Polio worldwide, and thanked everybody for their continued support.
Next year's district conference will be in Point Pleasant to give everybody a chance to attend, whether it's for the entire weekend or for just one or two days.
