Also his family owns Grebow Paint and Hardware in Toms River. He said that the London Ontario clubs are working on projects in Honduras and Haiti. There are 6 clubs in London.

Rotary District 7500 Thanks for Giving Dinner is January 25th

Hooper Avenue elementary school in Toms River had a charity fundraiser donating free designer clothing to women who lost their belongings as a result of hurricane sandy

March 7 is the Lombardi Dinner. Bill B. mentioned that Eric Lagrande was being discussed as speaker but that was not yet confirmed.

It was mentioned to sell your raffle tickets for this fundraiser.

Our Food Drive is ongoing thru June

We currently have 50 boxes of food ready to go to the 5 pantries

Rotary Club of Long Branch Foundation Chair Paul Peacock was pleased to announce at our last meeting that our Club Foundation had been awarded a $5,000 Grant from the Investors Savings Bank Foundation.  

“This money will go toward helping provide scholarships to Long Branch High School and Shore Regional High School,” said Peacock. “These scholarships are given annually with the awardees being selected by the high schools and the Rotary Club.” The Rotary Club of Long Branch Foundation is an organization, which supports the charitable service efforts of the Rotary Club of Long Branch.

Jack Kearns said that tickets to the Long Branch Concordance "Success Starts at Home" Event are available. The date is
