Pledge was started by Bill Bogliolioliolio

Blessing was done by Paul Peacock

We had 4 guests: Terry Janeczek, Kristen Handler, Thomas Uddo, and Anthony Thomas

Bill Boglioli spoke about the upcoming Lombardi dinner on March 7th. The money for attending and the 50/50 raffle sales is due next Friday the 22nd and Bill needs it in hands by Thursday the 21st. As of now we are 6 people shy of filling two tables. He stressed that it is extremely important for us to prove to Asbury Park that we can have a better turn out than them. The seriousness of this was reflected by Bill refusing a cell phone call during the middle of his announcement.

Next Friday February 22nd Mike Sheppard, the former head baseball coach of Seton Hall, will be our guest speaker.

March 22nd our district governor Joan Vas will be visiting and presenting our very own Ted Friedli with the coveted Paul Harris award. Ted is the owner of Excel Travel and President of Kick Cancer Overboard.

Ken Leposa urged us to continue to donate to our troops who are away from their families. He had the honor to meet with Soldier Brendan Marrocco of Staten Island, NY. Brendan lost all four limbs while serving in Iraq and was just the recipient of a double arm transplant. Ken thanked him and Brendan humbly said he was just doing his duty.

Thomas Uddo and Anthony Thomas, two public insurance adjusters, spoke to us about the benefits of hiring a public adjuster after having an accident or natural disaster affect your property. They covered many different situations where people might not think of filing a claim and explained how they could get you the money you deserve according to your policy. The insurance company adjusters are working to save the insurance company money, not to give you the money you pay for. A public adjuster will go to bat for you and they only take their percentage after you get paid. Adjusters have often been known to get you over 500% more for your claim then you would without one. They pay for themselves.

Jerry Kass won a impressive $20 in the 50/50.

A delicious cheesecake was served for dessert on Rooney's finest china.
