Announcements:
*Email went out with link to sign up/donate to Rise Against Hunger. Just .29 will feed a family of 6 a nutritious meal. Date is 10/28 at Manasquan Fire House #2.
*Art Show 10/18 at Branches. 10 artists confirmed so far, end goal is at least 15.
*Still collecting rice for Christ the King Church food pantry through August, the next meeting will be the last opportunity to donate.
*John Pallone was inducted by Gordon Heggie as the newest member of RCGLB. Welcome, John.

Speaker: Eric Carney
There are a lot of changes and re-working of the healthcare system to better serve patients. Stand alone services so patients don't have to utilize hospital location and will have specialization to better improve care. Monmouth Medical averages 5,000 births annually and is the top hospital in the state.
Continued focus on community outreach. Focusing on improving health before illness or chronic conditions take effect. Charity Care arm to assist patients in bill payment and financial issues.
Ted Panis collected Happy Dollars
Barb Youchah won the 50/50 . Not a happy camper after not picking the card that Paul told her to which was the Joker. The Progressive is still open for a winner.
