Announcements:
The Clambake made over $3,000 this year. Next year it will be a Fundraiser instead of a FUNraiser. 
*October 18th Art Show at Branches, looking for artists, $35 per booth includes food & booth, club to get 10% of sales.*
 
   Congratulations and more so, thank you to Dr. David Pfaff for earning his Paul Harris +1 Award!
 
Good & Welfare:  Luciana is not here today because she is becoming a Grandmother! Congrats, Luc!
 
 
District Governor Diane Rotondelli:
* Rotary Banner and Governor Certificate of Recognition to Mika on behalf of Pres. Luciana.
 
- Goals for the year:
* Foundation Goals
* Rotary theme for 2018 "Making a Difference" - need ideas from members and help putting individual skills to use.
* Public Image - first time a grant is available, due by 9/1. Be proud of club and recruit quality members.
* Plant a Tree Program.
* 10/28 Rise Against Hunger at firehouse in Manasquan, need volunteers and donations.  Just .29 feeds a family of 6 a nutritious meal.  More to Come.
* District Conference 5/4-6 at Camelback.
* 4 Way Test Project with children.
* Clubs submitting Vocational Award Winners
* Veterans Projects including Diane's Service Dog Fundraiser
 
The 50/50 winner was Roger Hansen. ***Progressive Lives On!
