How Does it Work?

Most Rotary Clubs meet every other week, or weekly, for an hour long meeting over breakfast, lunch, or in the evening. Some clubs only meet virtually or have some virtual aspect to their meetings.

During the meeting, club members have the opportunity to network, hear from a speaker, stay up-to-date on club news and initiatives, and share ideas for new service projects.

Outside the regular meetings, club members are encouraged to serve on the club’s Board of Directors or participate in committees (committees include everything from service projects, fundraising, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, membership, marketing & recruitment, and more). Members can join fellowship groups, social groups designed around a common interest like biking, whiskey, boating, etc. And, most importantly, club members are encouraged to lead or participate in service projects - those benefiting both the local community, or our global community.

Who Can Become a Rotarian?

Anyone can join Rotary! We have club members of all genders, professions, race or age (if you're in high school or college, you’ll want to learn more about Interact or Rotaract) or anything else.

As a global network that strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change, Rotary values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, color, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
