About Rotary District 9370

 

Rotary District 9370 was established on 1 July 2013, resulting from the amalgamation of Districts 9270 and 9320. It encompasses the entire South African provinces of KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and the Free State, parts of the Northern Cape and North West provinces and the entire Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.

 

In total, D9370 covers an area of some 475,000 Sq Km - 185,000 Sq M. This makes it rather larger than the US state of California, more than twice the size of the Australian state of Victoria, and twice the size of the UK.

 

At its inception D9370 comprised 101 Rotary Clubs, with a total membership of a little over 2000 Rotarians.
