Consider volunteering to serve as
District Governor

As this year draws to a close and we celebrate the holidays, please take a moment to reflect on just how much Rotary means to you and your community.  As much as Rotary may mean to you and your community, YOU mean everything to Rotary!  YOU are what makes Rotary productive and strong.  BUT, Rotary needs your help!  Please stop and take a second moment to think of how you can help YOUR Rotary.

 

We are in constant need of capable and dedicated individuals to lead us into the future.  Both at club and district level we need people to step forward and lend their talents.

 

If you have already served as your club’s President, please seriously consider volunteering to serve as District Governor.  The pay is FANTASTIC – not in money, but in the experience.  You will never have a more rewarding Rotary experience.  The chance to visit clubs and meet your fellow District 5520 Rotarians will be a life-changing experience and a rich reward.

 

We ask that you please step forward and accept the challenge.  If you cannot accept the challenge at the present time, stop and think of those past club presidents you know who would make great District Governors, and nominate them.

Nominations are now open and should be sent to PDG Dave Anderson at danderson165@comcast.net.  Even a call to Dave at (505) 350-6661 will get the process started.

 

NOTE: Monday, February 19, 2018, is the deadline for Clubs to submit nominations for District Governor.
