Attend our District 6270 PETS Orientation on February 9 to prepare for The Rotary Midwest President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) - one of the largest multi-district PETS in the United States- to be held on March 1-3, 2019.

Before attending, please talk with your current club presidents to learn about your club’s current goals so you can use them as a guide for establishing your goals for your club in your year as club President. At the PETS Orientation (Feb. 9) as well as at the Midwest PETS (March 1-3), a portion of time will be dedicated to providing you with an overview of using the updated Rotary Club Central, as well as time for you to input your goals for your year as President. Although we will be working in the computer center, I highly recommend that you bring your laptop (or tablet) with you to both events as they might be easier for you to use since you are familiar with them. It will also be helpful if you have already created a login on the Rotary International website. Go to https://www.rotary.org/en

President-Elect-Nominees (PEN) are also encouraged to attend  PETS Orientation, as well as Midwest PETS. If your club has selected a PEN, please forward this information to them for consideration.

Midwest PETS was formed in 2012 with a view to becoming a premier training event with the atmosphere of a mini Rotary International Convention by leveraging the expertise and buying power of seven Rotary Districts from Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, Districts 6220, 6250, 6270, 6420, 6440, 6450, 6460. With the ability to host exceptional speakers, informative workshops, detailed district training sessions, fellowship and networking, the basic purpose of our PETS is to motivate our 500+ attendees including club presidents-elect, presidents-elect nominee and assistant governors to ensure they are extremely well prepared for their year of service.
