Milwaukapella- Student Workshop & Evening Concert

MILWAUKAPELLA -

Day Long Workshop for A Cappella Students (8:30am-7:30pm) A full day of classes for vocal students with beginning through advanced levels taught by accomplished instructors and the amazing women of HIVE. Classes include soloing, group singing, arranging, belting, beat boxing, vocal percussion, conveying emotion, stage confidence, choreography. Workshop includes classes, lunch, snacks, dinner, evening performance by students and a great seat for the evening show.

Evening A Cappella Performance (7:30pm) 

The a cappella group HIVE, a group of five fierce and very different vocalists who make music and sound effects solely with their voices, are headlining Milwaukappella, Jan. 19, 2019, at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center www.southmilwaukeepac.org. Their performance opens with students who will have attended classes in a daylong workshop at South Milwaukee High School conducted by veteran vocal teachers and HIVE musicians.

All proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Mitchell Field charitable efforts.
