Hello!
It's already October.
For Rotary, October is Community Economic Development Month.
Naturally, Rotary strongly favors highlighting October 24 as World Polio Day.
Is your club planning a World Polio Day awareness and/or fundraising event?
Are you aware of the media resources available on My Rotary/Brand Center?
Do you know the athletes and leaders of Team End Polio?
You can find out more by visiting the various sites related to these topics.
On the theme of Community Economic Development, Rotary International supported a number of projects last year.
Does your club get involved with monetary donations to help local food banks, pay for winter clothing supplies, or local projects related to Rotary's various Areas of Focus?
Have you started talking about collecting food, gifts and/or participating in Christmas drives?
There are many other needs in your community that need your help and support.
In your actions and/or need for products or services, it's important to encourage your purchases of products and/or services from local businesses. In addition to helping local economic development, you'll gain by talking to local people and, above all, learning about their successes and needs.
And, recruit new members for your club.
Thank you for your commitment to Community Economic Development
With the Magic of Rotary you show how proud you are to be Rotary Heroes.
