Hello!

Thank you to all the clubs who, during the week of October 21 to 25, raised awareness and/or funds for polio eradication. Thanks to the Gates Foundation, your contributions will be matched 2 for 1.

We're starting the month of November.

For Rotary, November is Rotary Foundation Month and November 5th is World Interact Club Day.

Does your club sponsor an Interact Club?

During my club visits, I discovered that only 10 Rotary clubs out of a total of 58 clubs in our district sponsor Interact clubs.

Did you know that The Rotary Foundation transforms your monetary donations into sustainable local and international projects that improve the lives of people around the world?

Have you ever attended a Foundation Seminar or watched the information sessions in the My Rotary Learning Center?

Through these seminars and courses, you can learn more to help your club obtain grants for local and international projects.

In 2023-2024, The Rotary Foundation awarded 485 district grants ($30 million) and 1,287 global grants ($72 million) for projects related to the 7 Avenues of Service.

Have you heard of the PolioPlus Society? To become a member, you pledge to donate $100 each Rotary year to the PolioPlus Fund until the world is certified polio-free.
To become a founding member, you must make your $100 donation before June 30, 2025. For further information, please contact Scott Boucher (Maine) or Marcel Kressou (Quebec).

Finally, for the 16th consecutive year, The Rotary Foundation has received the highest rating from Charity Navigator.

Thank you for your monetary donations to The Rotary Foundation. Through the Magic of Rotary you show how proud you are to be Rotary Heroes.

District Governor 7790
