After 2 years of pandemic, we are gradually returning to normal functioning.

Normal, but certainly different, in that we have had to adapt to more restrictive, changing, ever-changing environments, and that, for most of us, new ways of doing things have been experimented with more or less success.

Unfortunately, these challenges have not been positive for all clubs. Rotary has experienced a significant decline in its global membership, a decline that we are just beginning to compensate for. A reduction in the number of members also means more difficulty in carrying out our actions in the world and locally.

It is not surprising, then, that our president, Jennifer Jones, is asking us to increase our efforts to, first of all, retain our members, and obviously welcome new ones and form new clubs.

The Rotary year 2022-2023 promises to be an "MEMBERSHIP" year. We will therefore work on it together, because:

Together, we see a world where people come together and take action to bring about lasting change in the world, in their communities and in themselves.

Thank you for your efforts, good luck in your projects.

DG Denis Blouin
